About Us
Mr. Bradley believed that every senior citizen, including those unable to save for their own retirement, should be entitled to live out their golden years with comfort, dignity and peace of mind in a quality rest home.
Built in 1938 to serve the aged community of Central Connecticut, the Bradley home facilities stand tall upon the Meriden, Connecticut landscape. The Bradley Home is the legacy of the late Clarence Bradley, a founding father of the City of Meriden who saw a need to provide senior citizens with a dignified living facility and the families of senior citizens with the comfort of a contract of caring for life. Although times have changed significantly since Mr. Bradley’s initial vision for the Bradley Home, the need for quality elder care has never been greater.
The Bradley Home and Pavilion consists of two levels of care licensed by the State of Connecticut:
Residential Care Unit houses 74 private rooms, allowing each resident privacy and independence in a nurturing and supportive retirement community. Our Skilled Nursing Unit houses 30 beds for elderly residents of varying ages and ability levels, and ensures optimum geriatric medical supervision, extended care and hospice care.
